Refund policy

We hope you will be delighted with your order, however should there be a problem with your purchase, we will do our very best to ensure we can rectify the issue in a timely manner.

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. Should you wish to return an item please email anja@anjakearton.com to begin the return process. Please state your order reference, name, address and reason for return. We do not include the original postal charges (where applicable) in the refund issued.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags intact and no signs of tampering, and in its original packaging to avoid any damage to the item. You’ll also need to include the receipt or proof of purchase. Returns are posted back at the buyers cost. Returns must be posted back by the same method as it was posted, be this Royal Mail Special delivery, International Tracked and Signed or other parcel company. This will provide with you proof of postage and insurance to cover the value of the item. We cannot be held responsible for returned items lost in the post.

Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues 

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and rectify as quickly as possible. For any items found to be faulty or sent in error postage costs will be refunded. Please follow the standard returns policy for sending your return.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards. Any bespoke items that are made exclusively for you are non-refundable.


Exchanges 

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
