This design is made from a beautiful collection of vintage, new and repurposed components. It combines my love of jewellery and textiles in one piece, even the buttons remind me that I am that person who wrote her degree dissertation on buttons. Silky satin teal fabric has been hand wrapped around a padded headband upon which brooches, gems, buttons have been sewn on by hand. Emerald and lime green along with aqua accents sparkle and shimmer.
